My name is Lyndsey Morris. I am really looking forward to my first year of teaching my own class. Let me tell you about my education background. I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a teaching degree in 2005. During my education I experienced many different programs designed for kids. These programs varied from preschool programs to juvenile detention centers. I have worked with kids of all ages and all different backgrounds.
The Spring after I graduated my husband, Brett, and I welcomed our first child, Natali. She will be in 6th grade at Canyon Creek this year. I decided to stay home with her and put my teaching career on hold. It was the best decision I ever made. In 2008, our son, Andrew came along. He's in 3rd grade at Cape as well. I was a stay-at-home mom until Andrew went to preschool then I wanted to get back into teaching. I taught preschool for one year, then began to sub in the Washougal School District about 3 years ago. I love Washougal and I love our schools. I'm so excited to be a part of the Cape Horn-Skye family.
